As to the lunch break, yes it was 45 minutes, same as every other period after the union stepped in and negotiated that kind of schedule. Otherwise some people would have the shorter (lunch) period as their planning time which was not fair, and some would be teaching some shorter time for a class. At one time our lunch break was 20 minutes. Good thing I was younger and moved faster then, or I'd have only had time to walk the class to the caf. and then get back in time to turn around to go pick them up again. (I know, only el ed teachers had to escort classes to and from caf. :) Rain today has been an almost constant, mostly very gentle spring rain, very nice day. Bonds? Well he was a PIRATE before he went to SF. But watch the PIRATES beat someone? HA HA. Now it's all about HOCKEY here, go PENS!
