New Balance 806 Trail shoes which are out of production now,
except for Cabela's where I order them online. I just bought two
pairs for back ups. They have abzorb shock material. I can get
three hundred miles where the non abzord shoes only 150 miles.
I used to go 500 miles before trail shoes but my ankles would
start hurting at 300 miles. I am older now so I replace them
sooner.
The other day I put some older 806's on with 350 miles and my
ankles really felt it! I threw them out.
I also bought NB 810 and NB 708 trail shoes. They are much
thinner than my favorite NB 806. The 810 and 708 don't even feel
like the 806 and feel more like slippers. I don't think they will
be very good.
So I am disappointed with New Balance company and will try
another brand as long as it fits wide feet. New Balance keeps
changing styles so much that they don't always meet my needs.
Happy trails
