    I am so sorry! Oh my gosh I can think of a million things you
    can't do if you can bend your elbows. Like brushing your
    teeth, combing your hair, shaving, bathing. Even going to the
    restroom could be difficult. I guess it depends on what kind
    of cast and how much bend there is at the elbow joint. If you
    had a 90 degree angle you might brush your teeth. I was
    practicing 90 degree and 45 degree angle.

    This has got to be painful. I hope he recovers ok.
