    Re: what would you do

    They're idiots.
Few good principals out there, and some who are good at discipline or
budget, or dealing with parent/staff problems, but many who have no
PEOPLE SKILLS. Then there are the ones who are so stuck on themself
that they don't even ever stop to think of what Miss Manners would tell
    them to do!
Be glad you are done with them.
The last boss I had, did have some good qualities but as time went on,
    more idiot qualities surfaced.
There were two of us retiring that year.
The last two days, a Monday and Tuesday, were 'clerical' days, meaning
finish up your packing up and paperwork.
I was done with everything and even turned in my keys when I left
    Monday.
When I came in Tuesday, several people asked me why I was there as they
all knew that the 'boss man' had told the other retiree that if her
work was done to just not bother coming in just to put in the hours for
    that last day.
Never made that offer to me.
    Guess what?
I don't care, he made himself look like an a** again!
I didn't care when August came and he had to be there in that sweatbox
and I was happily sipping a second cup of coffee and laughing at yellow
    buses going by!
Nor when he was dealing with testing pressures and report cards and
angry parents while I was relaxing with my friends in Florida in
    September.
I would not give such people the satisfaction of mentioning to them
that I had felt slighted or whatever.
They are not going to change.
Their mommas didn't get through to them, and neither did their wives.
    They're idiots.
Face it and move on and enjoy your retirement.
