Hmm. I don't have any ideas at the minute, but I have known
several people who retired to "get out of the rat race," but
still earned extra income at another type job. One carried
mail between buildings for a business, another works seasonally
at a park, one worked seasonally at a candy shop, one is a
Battlefield Guide for the National Park Service, and another
works on a miniature horse farm. Here's a thought: what about
working for a company that provides in-home, non-medical care
for the elderly? Or perhaps start a service where you run
errands, take people to appointments, or are a house-sitter?
