That is a good question. I thought about law school after
about five years in education, but didn't do it. I also
almost left for a banking job- but, that was cut from the
bank's budget just before I gave notice at school. I
complained a lot about education while I was there in that
stress, but now that I've been away and have reflected on it
I feel that it was a pretty good profession where we made a
difference. And, I was able to retire at a fairly young age
with a pension. I hated the politics, but you would find
that in any profession. I was talking to a college student
today about teaching and told her that it was hard, but
rewarding and that I recommend it. The starting salary today
is much better than the $9,000.00 per year that I started
with.
