Re: Why so defensive, people? It was just a simple question
Posted by: Why is the answer such a big deal??? Just wondering because on 11/02/09
seems like folks here don't mind saying how many years they
spent in the classroom, and truly I don't feel anyone is
"baiting" anyone!
I'm guessing from Dale's answers (NOT wanting any
disclosing details!!!!) that he was an elementary teacher
for 36 years, then moved up to administration for his last
4 years.
Of course, I could be misinterpreting things--"My first 36
years were spent at the elementary level."
Well if that was spent in a position other than classroom
teacher, what's the big deal? If that time was spend as a
classroom teacher, again, what's the big deal???
I'm stumped as to why people have felt they had to come to
Dale's defense when no criticism was leveled at him.
How can the way/years/position in which you served students
alluvuhsudden be considered *this type of personal
information* ? It really does lead one to think something
is not kosher! NOT SAYING DALE IS HIDING ANYTHING, but
in light of the defensiveness etc, makes me and others
wonder...
