Re: What's everyone doing with their "retired" time?

I live in Texas and am familiar with the migrating birds. I
use to do volunteer work at the zoo and plan to look into
doing more of that now in retirement. We had migrating birds
stop by the zoo each year.
You asked what we have been doing in retirement. Besides
seeing friends and family more, I have been working at a
friend's clothing store part-time. It is a much slower pace
than school was, but gets me out there seeing people and
having some sort of a schedule that I felt I needed after a
few months of retirement. The supplemental cash is a good
thing, too.
